The whole wheat bread rolls at breakfast were an absolute treat, perfectly crusty and fluffy. The stunning mountain views from my king room made each morning feel like a postcard! Barry and Van really made us feel at home, ensuring our stay was beyond special.
While the strictly vegetarian menu might require a little extra planning for some, it was clear that there were plenty of nearby spots to tickle our taste buds, so no biggie there!

The views from our king room were breathtaking, and we loved exploring around Cat Bells, which was just a short drive away. Our stay with my cousin was filled with laughter, and we truly appreciated the warm welcome we received from Barry and Van.
My wife says that the menu could use more variety.

We stayed in the King Room with Mountain View for 2 nights, and honestly, that bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in! The room had everything you would need, towels, toiletries, and loads of tea & coffee. The views from the room were breathtaking! Only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit outdated and needed a touch up, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all.

The mountain views offered breathtaking scenery, making mornings special. Fresh-cracked eggs at breakfast were a highlight, adding a delightful touch to the vegetarian menu. the room was disappointingly cold, especially the bathroom, which seemed a bit outdated. the lack of alternative dining options necessitated extra travel for meals, which was inconvenient. The overall atmosphere felt somewhat unwelcoming, which detracted from the experience.
